Movie Night QAL & Donate: Closing

Welcome back for the last post of this Movie Night QAL & Donate!

When we arrive at this point of any QAL & Donate, I find myself a bit speechless. How do you thank someone for signing up for your event, reading your posts, and sharing about the event all the while making a quilt to be donated to charity? I'm completely humbled by you! You have been incredibly devoted and completely selfless, for you have considered others more important than yourself and sacrificed your time, money, and efforts to help a child.

You are my inspiration.

You are a gift.

You are a life-changer.

It is my prayer that the joy you feel when you ship off your quilt will be like no other joy you've experienced in your quilting life. May God bless you!

Participant's Photos

One of my favorite parts of a QAL & Donate is seeing other's finished quilts. I just have to take a moment to brag on @basselin. She has such a beautiful finish and it is an honor to be able to share photos of her quilt.

Doesn't that look so dreamy? I know a very special young person will be so appreciative of their new quilt!

Week 4 winner/discount

Now for the Week 4 winner! You will receive *FREE LONG ARM QUILTING for a Movie Night Quilt from Modernly Stitched. And the winner is @brendaasselin from our Friends Group. Yay! Congratulations! And thank you for being an active member of the group. It's been fun watching your quilt come to completion.

REMINDER: A friendly reminder that Beth is also offering 20% discount to all Movie Night QAL & Donate participants! She will be accepting these quilts until August 31. You can contact Beth with any questions you have or if you need more information. She does a great job. You'll be pleased with her work.

In addition to Beth's offer, I want to provide as a small gift to each of you, I'm offering 30% off all CCQ digital patterns for 3 days only! Simply use the code MOVIENIGHTQAL at *checkout.

What's Next?

Looking to the future a bit, I'm throwing out a few hints here and there about a project I'm working on for the fall. It's actually a pattern series! I'm behind the scenes now creating and planning for these baby quilt patterns and cannot wait to show you! I will share with you that the series is called "The Dream Series." I'm thinking the title is appropriate for a set of crib size quilts, you think?

As far as QAL & Donate events, we're finished for 2022. I'm also thinking about next year already. On a personal note, my husband is exiting the military and we are moving...we are FINALLY settling down!! So I'm definitely going to offer at least 1 event. I'd like to say I'll do 2 but we'll just have to see. I'll definitely keep you posted.

With that said, you don't have to wait until the next event to donate another quilt. As I like to say around her often, the need for quilts never ends. Just be sure to follow the guidelines and have fun donating should you choose to do so. I have several patterns that are appropriate sizes for donating. You'll see a "Quilts for Kids Friendly" on the top left of these pattern listings. Any of these are good options should you be looking for a new pattern. And of course, please share with us your quilt photos using #cozycolorquilts! Tell your friends about QFK and I hope you'll be back for our next event.

Take care, my generous friend,

Beth Ann
